How to Apply: Online Admissions
Applying is easy using our online application. It simplifies submission and provides you a tool for tracking the status of your child's application after it has been submitted.
A $30 non-refundable fee must be submitted with each application.
Create an Online Application
- Click Create an Account to begin the online application process.
- Then log in to your newly created account, and Create a New Student Application for your child
- You will then have the flexibility to log into your account later to access the application.
- After submitting the application, you will be able to track your child's admissions status by logging into your account.
- You will also be able to print the completed application, monitor when the school receives supplemental forms, etc.
Age Requirements for Early Childhood Students
- Preschool: All children who have reached their 3rd birthday on or before September 1st and are toilet-trained
- Pre-Kindergarten: All children who have reached their 4th birthday on or before September 1st and are toilet-trained
- Kindergarten - All children who have reached their 5th birthday on or before September 1st
Health Requirements
In addition to providing a current immunization record for your child, all new students as well as all students in grades Pre-Kindergarten, 1, 3 5, and 7 are required by the Texas Health Department to have hearing and vision screening tests. Spinal screening is required for all female students in grades 5 and 7 and all male students in grade 8. Hearing, vision, and spinal screening are provided at OSL for a nominal cost to parents.
